A trip to Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a big dream come true.

When I first came here in 2016 found it amazing and incredible.

Especially Havelock Island, which is called the heartbeat of Andaman and is now also known as Swaraj Dweep.

This island is 39 km north-east of Port Blair. Is at a distance of.

The greenery and white sand-filled beaches here make it one of the beautiful tourist destinations around the world.

The global importance of this place increased in 2004 when the world's prestigious Time magazine declared beach number 7 as the best beach in Asia.

There are a total of five villages on this island namely Govinda Nagar, Vijay Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Krishna Nagar and Radha Nagar, whose beaches are very different in themselves. There is a lot of foreign tourists here.

The island was named after the British military commander Henry Havelock, who brutally crushed the 1857 revolution in India.

Many of Havelock's residents are refugees and their descendants during the Bangladesh Independence War, who were resettled by the Indian government.

There is a regular ferry service from Port Blair to Havelock Island two to three times a day.

If you want, you can also reach Havelock from Port Blair via Pawan Hans Chopper.

There are options for adventure sports like scuba diving along with the sea climate, if you are a nature lover and want to spend time in serene fiza, then Havelock is no less than a paradise.

The white sand of the beaches, the azure waters of the sea and the delicious seafood make for an unforgettable experience.

Taxis and bikes are also available on rent here, for which you may have to spend up to Rs 400.

You will find accommodation and food options on all the islands of Andaman and Nicobar according to your budget.
